Il est bon de commencer l'année avec l'orchestre le plus puissant du Bénin au siècle passé (avec Poly-Rythmo bien entendu). Cet orchestre des Volcans de la Gendarmerie est une armée dangereuse qui peut vous attaquer à chaque album. Celui d'aujourd'hui est épiphaniquement composé par le mage Thierry Boco, à son retour de Cuba, qui nous offre l'or de la salsa cubaine.
Ce disque a été enregistré en 1980 sur le label "Editions Philomène" et arrangé par les "deux cerveaux". Je ne sais pas qui sont ces deux cerveaux mais ils ont gravé deux superbes pièces: "Medewi" et "Semedo".
It is good to start the year with the most powerful band of Benin in the last century (with Poly-Rythmo of course). This military band, "Les Volcans", is a dangerous army that can attack you each album.
