SPECIAL POST: OGASSA (1978-2013)

This record was first released in 1978 on Albarika Store label and reissued on Hot Casa french label in 2013. I invite you to buy this fantastic and obscure record. Ogassa is a band from Porto-Novo, Benin. I never heard a beninese band with such a particular sound. I particularly like "Avale" which was originally composed by Danialou Sagbohan. The only information I have about the band is that  all the members died in a tragic car accident. This record is hugely rare, so buy it ! (Hot Casa Records).

Cet album fut édité sur le label Albarika Store en 1978. I a été réédité en 2013 par le label français Hot Casa. Je vous invite a acheter le disque de ce fantastique et obscure orchestre, Ogassa, qui vient de Porto-Novo, la capitale du Bénin. Ce groupe a un son très particulier. J'aime beaucoup le reprise de Danialou Sagbohan "Avale". La seule information que j'ai sur cet orchestre c'est que tous les membres sont morts dans un tragique accident de voiture.
